There’s A New Kid (Bagel) In Town (Nutley): The BGL

#BaeGoals in the Nut.

It’s no surprise that we’re always on the hunt for the next best bagel shop.  For most people, when you do find that place, you swear by it, defend it as if it’s your own and in a way become part of that tribe.  My friends and I argue about everything, whether it’s the best place to get a Pastrami Sandwich or who the greatest quarterback is of all time – point is, we all have our own opinions.

After countless hours of discipline and preparation Dennis Stavrinos opened the BGL garage door, which leads into a bagel shop that will put many others out of business in the area.  Walking into this industrial chic bagelry you are greeted by one of the friendly staff members where you place your order off of a giant chalk board.  After you place your order, you can take a seat at one of their custom built wooden tables with elegant industrial chairs and enjoy the experience.

The BGL is here to leave a mark and soon to be a staple of every Nutley resident.

The bagels are made in-house with unbleached and unbromated flour, kettle-boiled and baked, better than the most perfect golden brown campfire marshmallow.  They are everything we love in an all-natural bagel, soft and fluffy on the inside and with the perfect crunch on the outside.  Not to mention that they have over 15 flavors of cream cheese and compound butters all mixed together in house.

Located at 243 Washington Ave, Nutley, NJ 07110 – just 15 minutes outside NYC or a hop, skip, and a jump from Metlife Stadium.
It’s safe to say, we joined team BGL.  Make sure to follow The BGL on both Instagram and Facebook to see what you’re missing out on.
