“Do you need any basics?”
It is a question as old as time, asked around holidays, birthdays, etc. However it may be asked, one part of the question that usually goes unasked – Are you looking for Quality or Quantity? Basics can be used for many occasions; too many to name, but the tiers are Expensive, Moderate, and Bulk.
- Expensive Taste – You can shop at a store like Barney’s. The Quality vs. Quantity ratio would be about 70% / 30%.
- Moderate Standard – A store like Urban Outfitters sells great basics and often is also on sale or a 2 for 1 cost. Another option is discounted men’s online shopping destination like JackThreads. The Quality vs. Quantity ratio would be about 60% / 40%.
- Buying in Bulk – This is as easy as heading to your local Target and buying a lot for less. The Quality vs. Quantity ratio would be about 50% /50%.
The route you go is up to you, just make sure you know what type of investment you are trying to make.
